The global food system is facing multiple challenges: population growth, resource constraints, climate change, and escalating health demands. Against this backdrop, food science is breaking through traditional disciplinary boundaries, deeply integrating with life sciences, materials science, artificial intelligence, environmental science, and other fields, giving rise to a wave of disruptive technological innovations and industrial transformations. To accelerate innovation and development in the food industry, the 13th International Conference of Food Science and Technology Joint with 2026 International Forum on Interdisciplinary Food Science (ICFST&IFIFS) will be held from November 6–8, 2026 in Wuxi, China.
The conference is organized by Jiangnan University, University of California, Davis, and Elsevier. It is hosted by the School of Food Science and Technology of Jiangnan University and the Journal Center for Food Science of Jiangnan University. Centered on the theme "Food Seek: Cross-Innovation & Future Health" we cordially invite experts, scholars, industry representatives, and young students from the global food science and technology community to gather in Wuxi. Together, participants will engage in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge food technologies, interdisciplinary innovation, future food development, precision nutrition strategies, and other hot topics, jointly advancing the grand vision of leveraging food science and technology to support human health and sustainable development.
